Using a mobile eye-tracker, we assessed how eye-behavior changes when people switch between internal and external cognitive states.
We examined this using a novel, creative sentence continuation task, the alternative uses task and two more control tasks.
The project began back in 2022, when I worked as a research assistant at the @ae.mpg.de, so Im super happy and proud that it is now published :).
Happy to share that the paper "A Visual Decoupling Index Marks Internal Attention During Creative Verbal Generation in Face-to-Face Conversation", which I co-authored with Jessica Weit and Örjan De Manzano, is now published in the Creativity Research Journal (www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....) !
