Just finished an optimization pass on Phobos, and brought up shader fps by 20-50% across the board. At full res, the worst performers are now hovering right around 5fps, and 10 once checkerboard rendering is enabled (shown here).

Coming from a world where many of the bands of my youth do throwback tours and album anniversary shows, milking it as much as they can, it's incredible to see the mountain goats just...not. because they'll put out an album every year. why look back like that when there's so much left to do?
