just worth reiterating again that the refusal to know stuff is a deliberate moral choice that gopers make. the moral failure caused the intellectual failure, not the other way around.

I really wish he's start saying they should be abolished. it's very clear you can't bring them under control.
I kind of get why people posture and pretend they don't think he is who he is for access or advancement or for gigs or whatever. but...how can you actually believe that?!
like...it's been ten years. he staged a coup. he has put up concentration camps. he's in the process of murdering 14 million people. he's an evil human being who will treat you like shit. just on a basic self preservation level, when are people going to figure this out?
how could you not know that the interview would either be a moral and intellectual failure or he'd storm out?
I just think about Welker trying to appeal to Trump as a human being ("I traveled a long way to do this interview" or whatever she said) and how...like, how could you be a journalist at this point and think that Trump cares about anyone other than himself?
