We’re really proud of the contribution our tiny, skilled, volunteer team continues to make to fighting for our rights in Westminster and Whitehall.
We’d like to do more, but we are a very small nonprofit with a limited budget.
You can help us change that:

I have signed the fatal motion on the code of practice.
The answers to the questions I raised below - and to those from other committee members - fell far short of anything workable, just or fair.
Thank you @sarahowen.org.uk for listening fairly to the EHRC yesterday but clearly putting the reality of trans people’s lives across.
Having heard their defence, thank you for now signing EDM 240 against the EHRC’s harmful guidance.

I cannot stand by and willingly allow this harmful guidance to be adopted. This is why I have signed Nadia Whittome’s Early Day Motion 240 to disapprove this guidance. In my view, the Code creates confusion rather than clarity, and does not strengthen protections for trans people.
Today, @commonswec.parliament.uk will be questioning the EHRC on the new code of practice.
It's important we remind ourselves that trans people across the country are simply trying to exist freely. I am very grateful to those in Luton North who have been kind enough to share their stories with me.
“More than a hundred MPs have signed and made it clear that this code is unjust, unworkable and unacceptable.” – @transsolidarity.bsky.social
Contact your MP and encourage them to sign if they haven't already.
The Code of Conduct is deeply harmful.
