The government is restricting funds for #harmreduction. This makes it difficult and/or impossible for organizations to do the work of keeping people alive, including syringe service programs. Strapped for funding, restricting and/or cutting more funding will make things worse. How do we know?
So here's the situation with @gilead.com They hold the patent for a life-saving drug called Lenacapavir (LEN). 2 shots a year prevent you from getting HIV. It's a massive game changer for ending HIV transmission! But here's the catch: Gilead won't sell it to Doctors Without Borders. 1/
