I wrote about him in my deep dive into Saltash Library. He’d spent his national service spying on Soviet planes in East Germany. And he built eco houses before it was a thing.
MACHAN, on the edge of Gillan village, near Manaccan on the Lizard peninsula was built in the 1930s for a man who was a wholesale meat merchant and used in WW2 to accomodate evacuated children...old b&w postcard shows it had a few less curvy bits then
