Carmelites: Re-imagined.
I'll check out BaL. Chailly's Mahler cycle is very good indeed.
Some symphonies seem especially suited to certain orchestras, and Copland 3 fits the LSO's sound and style like a glove. Despite the unflattering Barbican acoustic, I'm loving this so far.

Bonjour mes amis, c'est #NewReleaseFriday! French composer Mel Bonis (1858-1937) is coming into her own on record, while Ádám Fischer's Haydn series moves from London to Paris. Plus Rachmaninoff's Bells, Falla from the Dude, CPE Bach in Berlin and more. Tout ici ▶️ open.qobuz.com/playlist/513...
Although I thought Hurwitz was too harsh, his video review is well worth watching and at least I felt like he and I were listening to the same recording. I felt like ES wrote a review of the recording he wanted this to be, rather than what it is.
