I've finally moved on new features testing and polishing. Honestly, the previous stage isn't 100% complete, for example, I still haven't drawn all the animations for the new knight.
But I can't put it off any longer, I need to move toward the playtest.
We're still so busy with defferent routine tasks (for example, right now I'm thinking about how to best organize the inventory), so here's an old picture from one abandoned project.

We won't completely abandon the current version. Because new design would require redrawing a huge number of animations, and right now our priority is working on the gameplay and levels. Also, even if we do get a new design, we'll keep the current one as a reward for completing a certain quest.
I really want to redesign main character's design, because I realize that the current version is not expressive or eye-catching. On the picture - one of the attempts to improve it. What do you think, is it worth developing this version?

Still there's not much to show yet. We've almost finished adding the necessary features for playtest build and preparing all the assets, so in about a week I'll start testing everything, and then putting together new levels and updating the existing ones
