Oh holy wow this is gorgeous. I never realized any of these were color plates.

Really good catch by Courtney here on a complex scam. A couple of quick notes from a security person:

This is a thing of I know my lane. I can do extremely simple torchwork. I can do minimal repairs, but I only went to school last year. I do not want to fuck up your vintage rings. I can't replace them. If you fall in love with a ring, a local silversmith will probably resize it for thirty bucks.

The bow of Sir Ernest Shackleton's Antarctic exploration ship 'The Endurance', photographed in colour shortly before it sank in November 1915. The man with the camera is crew photographer Frank Hurley. I've cleaned & enhanced the shot, but it is an original colour paget plate and not colourised.

What’s the most widely enjoyed food that you can’t stand, not because of allergies or anything but just because you hate it?
I think I just barely escaped a shockingly savvy scammer trying to get my bank credentials. First, whoever it was had my actual phone number, my actual bank, and the last 4 digits of my account. They sent a "was this transaction you" message that looked almost identical to the ones my bank sends.
