I collect disability "stuff" from all over, but esp. India. Eyeglasses, print culture, prosthetics, etc. And recently found a listing on Ebay for a penis-headed walking stick "a beautiful gift for gentlemen and your lovers," and Im so torn between laughter and wanting to buy it for my collection

This is a STUPID IDEA. It was stupid when Australia did it, and it's stupid now. It doesn't help anyone. "For the children" my ass. Pure performative bullshit so they don't *actually* have to protect children or rein in abusers.
I cannot express how incredible this series is, you should ABSOLUTELY pounce on it!
