when i was like 8 years old i was left unattended with an old phone that had a non-RJ11 jack and spliced together two cables to make an adapter for it... while one of those cables was plugged into the phone jack... and promptly learned this lesson.

One time I commented on how odd it was that peanut butter and orange juice caused a specific sensation somewhere between "spicy" and "itchy" that I really enjoyed.
