Biological sex and gender are two different things, and I personally don’t think anyone can really call themselves an ally until they understand that distinction

But I also want to caution those who seek to be allies that leaning into talking about intersex people to defend trans rights conflates the two, can end up being offensive in the process, and puts you in scientifically dubious waters in a way just saying “trans rights are human rights” does not.
