A small but important segment of the New Left “turned to industry,” getting jobs in steel, auto, and elsewhere to build a militant current in the US labor movement. The Rank-and-File Project is aiming to build a similar current of democratic, militant unionism today.

Had one beer and had the worst sleep. I stopped drinking like 2 years ago due to peri and it made such a huge difference. Goddamn I can't have even one beer now. Good thing all the non alcoholic beers are delicious.

Love Kathleen Turner, quite a few on here I haven't seen and will now! I saw her in a production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf? www.theguardian.com/film/2026/ju...
Growing up in the 80s I actually thought Tina Turner was Australian. I rarely heard her speak (and when she did she kind of yelled?) and she was in EVERYTHING. Footy grand finals, Mad Max, Hey hey it's Saturday, every commercial break. I just thought she was Polynesian 😂.
