A quick thinking resident had closed all Internal doors preventing the spread of fire and smoke.
Firefighter/Paramedics from Tara Street and Donnybrook responded to a domestic fire in the City Centre earlier this week. A transitional attack was carried out whilst Firefighters made their way to fight the fire internally.
Welcome to Oscar District, Badge 36, Marlie. Marlie joined the A Watch crew in Rathfarnham for her induction to #OscarDistrict. On arrival she met with S/O Keith Mason and was given a brief about the station.
Special thank you to the crew in Rathfarnham who made the day extra special for Marlie. Thanks as always to our friends in Dubco Ireland for supporting these days along Flashpoint Systems and Dunnes Stores.
One suggestion Marlie and S/O Mason discussed earlier today was the idea of adding a bit of colour to our PPE to match the special firefighter boots she had.
It was then time for pizza, tea, cake and presentations after all of the hard work and before Marlie could spray anyone else with the hose!! A special thank you to Marlie and her Mam for coming to see us. Marlie is a brave, courageous and funny girl and we look forward to welcoming her back soon.
Marlie got to inspect the crew and read out the duties on parade before heading out to see the fire engine and equipment. It wasn't long before the bells went and Marlie got to practice her firefighting skills.
