i just saw this post and then found out youtube just incorporated DMs into their app
this is ancient discourse now but i can't help but feel like this is a lot of vaguely left-coded content on social media these days. it's like progressive for people both gay and straight to use gay to mean [bad character traits that are gay stereotypes] but now in a 'he's gay so he's allowed' way.
