There should be no "next session" for the NY Health Act — it has the power to save lives NOW. Healthcare is a basic human need, and I won't stop fighting until our laws recognize it as a right!
As a cancer survivor, I know how the US insurance system risks lives by putting profit over people, especially when it comes to the marginalized or disabled. The NY Health Act would heal our harmful healthcare system by ensuring single-payer, universal healthcare for all NYers.

As Democratic State Committee Member, I passed a resolution in the New York State Democratic Committee in support of the New York Health Act by working with my colleagues and contending with the state party chair as a mandate to Governor Hochul and the New York State Legislature.
