Hey putting the negativity aside guys, that fortune's weave trailer got me EXCITED
Not to sound like an out of touch parent in the 90's, but it's weird that like 90% of video games and nerd media are built around the concept of people hitting each other with deadly force over and over again, and being able to tank such hits to ridiculous degrees
The violence itself is strange and ought to be analyzed, but I also think it's just funny that we all collectively agree to pretend that being slashed by a sword is something you can recover from by sitting down and catching your breath
A huge portion of my hobbies and interests involve the concept of commiting mortal violence over and over again until some kind of moral or strategic victory is achieved
I'm excited for the new Castlevania game. I could play so many of those, all day, forever. The perfect game formula. And it's been so long since we got anything fresh ❤️
The new art style is really promising, I'm glad they are shooting for a clear visual identity distinct from the Iga era.
