94-year-old Marion Penner in Steinbach Manitoba has been refused medical assistance in dying, so has stopped taking her heart medication and antibiotics in hopes of hastening her death. ARCC says that a provincial law protecting doctors who deny MAID is inflicting cruelty and trauma onto her.
