Speaking of “unrealistic” locomotives/car pairings… (and I’m reminded of that recent Reddit post musing if gas gets too expensive, could steam make a comeback???)
Here’s a 4-6-6-4 Challenger steam locomotive hauling 1.6 miles of Thrall LoPac 2000 articulated container cars 🚂
(I actually need a bigger can inside my house, the one I have is sized for if I have the time and energy to take it out 1-2x/week.)
The border between what is and isn't my responsibility is... overly specific in a bad way, I personally think. For example, I am allegedly responsible for the gutters, even though The Association is responsible for the roof itself and for deciding on the appearance of my home
I wonder if my HOA is hard up for money or something. I just got a notice of a fine for $25 because there was an single piece of somebody else's garbage in front of my house, in a space I can physically not access and to which I have never been, probably bc everyone else in overfill the recycling
and lets recycling build up inside for weeks so as not to cause this specific problem.
Took the switchbacks down to Sedona which used almost no energy but dropping some in anyway
