Grandmother, European, Rural dweller, Cyclist, Charity Trustee, Rotarian and New College Swindon Ambassador. Aware of injustice; prefer debate to slanging matches; love sparkling wine and I don't live in North London (obvios)

Today is 9 years since Grenfell. Despite clear evidence (both before, during and since the disaster) of premeditated crimes, criminal negligence, and misconduct in public office, survivors and bereaved family are still waiting for justice.
Rivers of London my favourite on Audible read by my all time favourite Kobna Holdbrook-Smith
This is why I am cutting all ties with the mainstream media - they occasionally tell the truth.

Just so perfect. I wonder what she’s reading?

Thank you students of New College Swindon for an entertaining and creative evening at the Wyvern Theatre with your amazing production of Chicago. What a night to remember
Wildflower meadows give so much to insects, bees, butterflies and to all humans passing by. Here’s my attempt.
Starting the day with profound quotation from Matt Haig. Much to wonder at.

Highly recommend Ben Aaronovitch’s Rivers of London series (books, graphic novels, and soon a TV series!). Octavia E. Butler, Parable of the Sower and Parable of the Talents, or any of her work. I like funny sci-fi, so John Scalzi is good for that. Starter Villain was fun, but he has others.
