It is National Indigenous History Month! Today we highlight Jerry Lonecloud (1854–1930), a guide, lumberer, showman, herbalist, Micmac (Mi’kmaw) sub-chief, and folklorist. Ethnographer of the Micmac nation could rightly have been his epitaph.
