Exactly this. I became a campaigner to stop a designated site of nature conservation interest from destruction in my community in Knowle West Bristol. I was renting a tiny one bed flat with no green space but being called an elitist nimby by millionaire politicians with massive gardens.
A year ago: We're building data centers everywhere to run you out of your job and double your power bill. It's so you can look at fake videos of talking dogs on your phone
Now: Why are people so hostile about the data centers
