Watched Terminator 2 last night with my kid, and all the “future” stuff is kind of funny now - the dates way too close to us, cue Gen Z giggles - until any scenes with the tech guy and his exponential, out of control algorithmic war AI, which seems to have been cut and pasted from the news. Oh.
This is only of interest because it might allow insight into the mind of an iconic and beloved significant human creator, but he hasn’t done anything, or rather how much he has done is debatable and obscured by algorithmic activity, rendering it entirely meaningless.
