It is impactful for trans and allied folks to see representation of themselves and the people they love.
No one is denying Jax is a piece of shit.
This representation is also important because it shows trans folks are PEOPLE. They can do good and bad things just like everyone else.
What haunts me about Jax as a character is the fact that I could have very easily ended up like them. There are so many points in my live where I was on that path. Community is what saved me and pulled me back from the brink. It’s so easy for complex trauma to consume you.

u should see a professional for diagnoses that you need medication or help to manage but I don't think it's bad to be able to recognize and name your specific symptoms or recognize something like you fit on the autism spectrum or whatever
