Now being old enough to get asked for career advice often, I always mention choice of partner. Yes, my husband handles schedule shifts so I can accept travel and speaking opportunities. But he also finds a recording of me on stage and plays it at dinner so our son can see his Mom doing her job. ❤️
Death is the logical terminus of the toxic convergence of misinformation, illiteracy (both language and data varieties), social media-cemented reality bubbles, school budget cuts, and distrust of institutions. Putting that aside, a "pioneer" in what, exactly?

My grandfather, who was Group Navigator, 301st Bomb Group during WWII, was the descendant of migrants, as all Americans are. He fought to safeguard democracy for all, not just the chosen few. Today’s speech discredits his service.
Love joining forces with @erinsikorsky.bsky.social in general and especially on the national security implications of the worsening energy crisis, and the role that renewable sources can play.
The generational collapse in literacy is measurable, persistent, and likely to get worse.
