Look I love film y'all know that, but you'll never convince me it's a better investment for poor beginners or for learning. I got an E-1 5mp pro DSLR rated for 150,000 shots and an 18-180mm all-in-one for like the price of an AE-1 kit and maybe two rolls of slide film, tops.

Yeah! I think I got my very-minty one and the 18-180 together for like, $250? That's not pocket change but that's hardly expensive for a camera kit either.
