I know this is men's and not women's but I do feel some level of validation after Tuesday's USWNT game where I was like "World Cups are reffed super tight now or did I hallucinate that"

I have been a little resistant to the “nobody in the U.S. cares about the World Cup” narrative because I fundamentally don’t think that’s true but it is true not a lot going on at the Iowa 80 truck stop

Had to do an emergency car repair in Iowa City and very easily found the game to pass the time, World Cup good

It is hilarious how much I’m already struggling to fit watching the World Cup into my schedule like these games are supposed to be played at 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, and maybe 2pm not take up the whole evening
