A reminder with #SteamNextFest starting: You SHOULD install the extensions that pop up the AI Disclosure in Steam and ignore any game with it.

"Devs will use Claude to edit dozens of config files instead of painstakingly editing each file by hand"
Yes, editing individual files is painstakingly boring, tedious, and just not fun.
But you know what that does?
Ensures that everything is CORRECT
It keeps people EMPLOYED and teams FULL (1/7)
Wtf was "politically incorrect" about the office?
Any time an idiot says this kinda thing though I just want to throw south park at them. That still exists. Or even new crap like Big Mouth, Solar Opposites or Krapopolis.
I keep seeing Chedd's messages being like "people are upset because we didn't disclose" no you straight up had your staff members flat out lying. Not even dodging the question. "It is not" was the response I got (after it was initially dodged).
Programming is creative work.
I saw someone mention it but the devs try to defend it as them not wanting their people to spend hours doing all the changes themselves, but to quote the post I saw "if your only options are Gen AI and Crunch, it's a failure of management"
PROGRAMMING IS CREATIVE WORK
