Also, if you've never played these games or have avoided them because of the terrible Petz branded box art: They are *not* the kinds of games you likely think they are.
One month left to submit something for the first annual SOUPJAM! Plenty of time to make something cool.
The barrier to entry is really low and you don't need any gamedev experience to make something.

It feels so weird to go from Tail Concerto to a more recent game in the same series like Fuga: Melodies of Steel where the main gimmick is "you can permanently sacrifice your children to power a giant death cannon."
