I think that artifact awe is pretty real and pretty understated when we compare art / creative efforts
we were watching the original jurassic park and you sit confronted by this rubber animatronic in the rain and it feels so embodied to the thousands of effort-hours to get to that final shot

It's a reliable awe trigger for me. Performers spending 100s of hours prepping a few minutes of material for a show, a scholar spending a decade on a book, a Ghibli film, cathedrals.
