Got to socialize an hour at the nearby Furry Pinball meetup before work tonight. Glad Willow talked me into going; it was good to see a lot of familiar faces, including some that showed up early just to see me ;3; <3
Sorry, burnt out from this year. It’s been one life changing bad event to the next & despite the recent trips (I paid for last Dec.), you can’t run away from reality forever.
Tell me tho, does it get better? I’ve forgotten what it’s like to have a stable home, esp w/ roommates.
Update: Doing better, went out with some friends in Denver this weekend & it helped keep me grounded. Plus my dad & I talked & were trying to figure something out. At the very least, looks like I’ll be housesitting his FL homestead soon, so I’ll get to see some friends back home.
Not the best way to start off my “Friday” at work, already getting stressed as it is about finding a place to move. The clock’s ticking, as they say.
My apologies for the depressing posts, but this year has NOT been kind to me regarding back-to-back life changing moments that derailed pretty much the entire year. Not thrilled I have to move on top of the hospital bills, hoping once the dust is settled I can be stable again.
Update 2: Wasn’t eligible for Colorado Medicare, so…back to begging. Healthcare in this country feels more and more like a luxury.

One of the roommate’s dogs I’ve known for a few years has been sent out for adoption following an attack on one of the cats. Can’t blame her behavior, her owner abandoned her here a few months ago as it is.
With pet rent these days…I couldn’t take her in either. Sucks, man.
Feeling awful about it, but reached a point where now I’m begging for help with my medical bills on Facebook after realizing how expensive it’ll be just to move one town over.
Living in America feels like I have a gun to my head and unless I keep paying money, I’m dead.
