I was kidding. It definitely is NOT obvious to me. Almost nothing my cats do have an obvious reason. They are are an 'enigma wrapped in a mystery.'

It may very well be you - just look at that face. You have the honor of puttering around the house under the watchful gaze of such an handsome soul. We should all be so lucky.
I remember seeing this years ago and it made an indelible mark on my brain. I think the artist is Japanese but do not recall the name.
The paintings that look like photos. The ink drawings that are "hyper realistic" are essentially magic to me. I cannot wrap my head around the artist's ability. Truly amazing.
Good point. Not a big fan of people myself. I may have to refrain from using that phrase as it could easily be misconstrued as an insult in this day and time.
Wonderful. Just the idea, the concept and the imagery are so intriguing. It's not a physical subject you have seen. It's a thought, a feeling, a wish commemorated on paper for others to see as you do.
Good human.
The 'hyper-realism' part is over-the-top. I admire it and can appreciate the work and time to create, but I still prefer what you so aptly described as 'the feeling of a dog'. I like the negative space in photos and art. It makes the viewer think.
Exactly! I love art that evokes 'the feel' of a perceived subject. Doesn't need to be complete. Doesn't need finite detail. The mind's eye will fill in the blanks. Wonderful Dalmation
