Formed through Exemplars in Global Health, AWARE focused on identifying and sharing best practices in Brazil, Kenya, South Africa, & Vietnam selected for their innovative use of surveillance systems, integration of climate and environmental data, & demonstrated capacity for outbreak response.
The Brown University project team served as the cross-country research partner for AWARE and collaborated closely with in-country research partners in each country alongside our co-funders and thought partners at the @gatesfoundation.bsky.social, Gates Ventures, and @wellcometrust.bsky.social.
