When someone is battling a threatening disease, getting their utilities shut off is wantonly cruel. It is unnecessary. Rhode Island used to lead the nation in protections for utility consumers, and Rep. Cruz and I have a bill to make that true again: www.bostonglobe.com/2026/05/08/m...
