State of Play was disappointing. Nothing got my hype going as a day one must play. I have way more interesting games in my backlog.

You should have gone straight into showing Zelda gameplay with the Treehouse crew. Instead you do Star Fox which I'll be able to play the demo of later today.
Fuck you, Nintendo. That ending was a bullshit tease that told us nothing.

Debating changing my profile pic from The Thinker to this art by Franz Kafka. I've used the old one for over a decade.
Thoughts?

I loved the look on Geoff's face when he showed the final game. You can tell he is salty as fuck about Highguard.
FF7-3 looks great though!
And did anyone else notice how no game is coming out anywhere near November. GTA6 is intimidating the whole industry.

I do think this Direct is going to be big though. Switch 2 has nothing coming out past July and it's struggling. They have a lot riding on this and I could see them showing stuff from 2027 off just so people know games are coming. My dark horse is a Metoid 6 teaser.
I'm really hoping they don't do a LE Zelda Switch 2 console, though. I don't want to spend $500 on it. Give me a controller and some merch and a cool OoT Remake collectors edition and shadow drop TP or Four Swords on GameCube VC. Either way, I'm expecting a lot of Zelda since it's the 40th.
When it comes to the Nintendo Direct, I'm just hoping for something big for the Zelda 40th anniversary. It's my favorite franchise and I want some cool stuff for it. I have a feeling the OoT Remake is going to be a lot more extensive than people are expecting; basically being a new game.

With the OoT Remake, I think they're going to combine the open world of BotW with the dungeon structure of OoT. Maybe also make it so you can do dungeons in any order. They'll also massively expand the map and add more side content.
Karen screaming to see you're manager?
Shrill issue
