I don’t know how much of it was the marine layer and how much was from the fire in Boyle Heights, but I couldn’t even see downtown on my hike today. It smells like burning plastic at ground level in Los Feliz and at the top of Mt. Hollywood. No visibility over Glendale either.

I hiked and ran up in the park, which was probably wasn’t the smartest, but I don’t have any conditions that are exacerbated by that sort of thing. I worry more for the people who live super close to it.
I will say that the one advantage (for me) is stabilization. I can’t draw for shit on paper because I have pretty shaky hands. I still don’t see that as cheating. It’s probably even a matter of accessibility for some disabilities.
