for Blaxsploitation day of #Junesploitation I watch what many consider the first in the genre. Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song. A movie that beat Shaft to market by a couple months. Went in blind and did not expect it to be as experimental and weird as it was.

I may have missed a couple days but for Zombies day of #Junesploitation I watched a movie that I've been fascinated by the title of for years. The Dead Hate the Living!. Another case where the title is better than the movie but it wasn't terrible

less than 5 minutes in and this looks so much cheaper than the first film somehow. Also how bad is your script when Christopher Lambert says no to return. I feel like that guy would agree to appear in anything.
