- For a Big Team Science project, do you have tips on which months tend to work best for recruitment in your country, and how we might stagger recruitment across regions?
This month’s #ManyLanguagesChallengeOfTheMonth focuses on something many of us grapple with every year: seasonal recruitment difficulties.
Whether you’re running online experiments, lab‑based studies, or fieldwork, recruitment patterns often shift dramatically during long breaks. For some teams, summer holidays mean fewer students on campus; for others, winter holidays mean participants are travelling, busy, or simply less available.

If you want to contribute to any of our three projects (ManyTones, CLAPS, Many Uses), you can reach out to the project leads. You will find their contact information here: many-languages.com/projects.html
- How difficult do you find it to recruit during summer or winter holidays
