Apparently the Iranian negotiators just walked out on the meeting with Vance over the newest round of Trump threats
As JD Vance and his son in law are engaged in talks with the Iranians which violate the explicit terms of the MoU and indicate his intention not to honor it. Vance apparently told the Iranians to ignore Trump's statements which were geared to appeasing his MAGA base.

Trump threats to occupy Iran: "President Trump tells Fox News he spoke with Iranian officials overnight and said, 'You close the strait and you won't have a country.' He went on to tell these officials, 'You won't even make it back to your f**king country...we'll take over the rest of the country.'"

But many broadcasters have already chosen to pass up the temptation to air commercials during the 3-minute breaks. Apparently everyone but Fox and CBC—though correct me if I’m wrong. To the point where English-speaking Americans are watching Spanish-language broadcasts to avoid them.
Vance is an understudy who will never see opening night.
The Iranian Foreign Minister makes Vance wait, then when he arrives he refuses to shake Vance’s hand or greet him. The US has never looked smaller or weaker on the world stage.

“A downer denouement for Mr. Trump’s critics.” Cute, like it’s a play. Trump defaced a memorial to a murdered president and the NYT covered it like theater. NYT’s pattern of trivializing the opposition as cheap melodrama and bending over backwards to insulate Trump. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/21/u...
Mainline dems have got to come to the realization that the NYT is a far right outlet that exists to defend and boost conservatives.
If they are offering "advice" its because they want liberals to lose and fascists to win.

No publication has been tougher on Fox's World Cup studio show than @theguardian.com. You knew it was coming & here is this year's edition. The headline: "The French aristocrat and the all-American idiot: Henry v Lalas is the World Cup’s most compelling battle."

Vance says the US comes with an "outstretched hand." It's an open hand of peace, ready to pull off a geopolitical slap the moment you disagree
Fox’s broadcast at the tournament has become a story of two contrasting styles. And there is one clear winner

NEW: I spoke to a number of sports media executives and soccer on-air talent about the World Cup hydration breaks.
Everyone believes they are here to stay. The money is too great for the host broadcasters/FIFA to pass up.
