You don't need a fancy, 6000$ 4'x4' name brand digital touch pad to do good work. I can't tell a difference in my work between my daughters 30$ off brand tablet and my 2k apple tablet.
Also general advice you dont have to finish everything. Sometimes practice is ok too

Oh my god I've been trying to color grab from my own canvas for DAYS feeling like I'm slowly going INSANEEE bc the color has been wrong and stupid procreate had to update how the eyedropper works.

Digital art, i feel in theory, is like the "youre not bad at the game, you just need a 2nd monitor" mindset. You see something and think "i didnt do good bc i don't have expensive equipment" when thats not true at all. You are the only expensive piece of equipment you need to make art
Might maybe do a few half off c//mms on vgen to go get my back adjusted if anyone is looking for cmms
