y'all... y'all know he's doing this explicitly to gun for PM... right? this is not a moment of rejoice!!
A quick heads up; The UK government is currently holding a consultation on the Online Safety Act. The consultation lasts until the end of next month. Please fill it out if you live in the UK and/or share it around to get more eyes on it. www.gov.uk/government/c...
Listen to clouddrop by Jamie Paige :3
Electric pantograph takes up no space on the train, only require a bit of metal, can be easily wired up to the grid, and are totally safe. Not to mention one pantograph line serves infinite trains. We don't need to make more if we want to run more trains.
Battery catches fires, needs constant replacement, and have huge environmental and financial up-front costs. Hydrogen requires, usually, to be produced from oil, and also catches fire ridiculously easily at the compression needed for trains.

www.libdems.org.uk/conference/m... > f. ...the use of battery and hydrogen in appropriate parts of the network. Annoying in an otherwise good document. Hydrogen and battery aren't a replacement for proper electrification. People will realise this when their trains start blowing up.
