New work for @lemonde.fr, featuring the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Pina Picierno. A strong advocate for Ukrainian interests and against Russian disinformation in Europe, Picierno has received several death threats and was therefore placed under police protection in June of this year.

For @nytimes.com I traveled to the Netherlands to contribute to an opinion guest essay by author Jonathan Darman at the American Cemetery in Margraten. The WWII cemetery holds the graves of more than 8,300 fallen soldiers, and many headstones are cared for by Dutch locals from surrounding towns.
