If this theory is true, grid-lanes should be picked up much more easily than grid, because grid-lanes are once more content-based.

Yes, that's it. grid-lanes are the ultimate unordered list. You can't predict the order. #cssday
I find myself in a church.
Why?
Have I been put here for a reason?
Is there a deeper purpose to my presence?
So my current theory is that from time immemorial CSS devs got used to content-based layouts such as tables, floats, and flexbox. Then grid came, and it's not based on the content of the items. That's why it's considered confusing or "I already use flexbox so I don't need grid." [1/2]
Praise be unto the cascade.
Oh look, they removed all old ,lost and vague bikes from the rack in front of my house and left … only mine?

And they feel totally relaxed about the whole situation. That's so great.

We still have a few tickets left. Maybe come off your fence and join us next week?

Well, we've got a speaker change. @csswizardry.com is unable to make it due to a weird combination of circumstances. Fortunately we found @bram.us willing to take his place. The schedule has been updated to reflect this.
