Happy #PigeonDay!
Pigeons feed their nestlings crop 'milk'. It's a cottage cheese-like substance that is produced in the crop, an enlargement of the esophagus where they store food. I made this illustration ages ago as part of my TEDx talk on the simple wonders of nature. Haven't see it in a while.
