Do you want to help us represent academic mid-level staff in Switzerland? đź’Ş We are currently looking for new delegates to the Swiss Accreditation Council, to Eurodoc and in the area of Open Science. Interested? See the details on our website: lnkd.in/dR8Fpdb6
We have a fresh new look! If you spot our new logo out in the wild, don’t worry – your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you! We have given ourselves a much-needed makeover with a brand-new logo and corporate identity.
Together with ACIDUL, the association of mid-level staff and doctoral students at the University of Lausanne, and the Public Services Union, we are organising a meeting with @thomasporcher.bsky.social, economist and author, to present his latest book.
The event will take place in Marielle Franceo Room, Maison du Peuple (Pl. Chauderon 5), on September 26th at 17.00. An apero will follow! The event is open to all, and will be conducted in French. You can find the book here: www.editions-stock.fr/livre/le-vac...
But rest assured, behind the shiny new look, we are still the same actionuni you know: fighting for the rights of mid-level academic staff at research institutions across Switzerland. like
The book denounces the growing precariousness of researchers in France, and describes its impact on research and teaching. The presentation will be followed by a discussion on the parallels between the situation in Switzerland and France, its causes and possible solutions.
