Another great trip to @noiseannoys78.bsky.social
If anyone needs me, I will be drinking the six litres of cheap Sangria that is needed before putting this gem of a record on...
It's basically like being stuck inside a Spanish Oktoberfest tent. Confusing as hell, and probably great fun when drunk.
The joys of having eclectic taste! Something for every mood.
Started up with a sore throat on Thursday night. Managed to run ok Friday and yesterday (easy running only) and got a few days before next planned run. Only 3 weeks to the Nova Coast Half, could really do without this! Sounded like Barry White yesterday morning, but more like Macy Gray by bedtime!
I may be here some time...
The Xavier Cugat is the best kind of cocktail music. Like a more relaxed Perez Prado without the odd vocal yelps. Totally up my street. Just needs some Ceefax pages.
4 days off running for my birthday weekend weekend with family, legs are itching to go for tomorrow's threshold interval session! Just got to shift the last of the hangover!
During a session demonstrating my synths to my friend Tom, we ended up with a very promising start... so I developed it today into a full track. Intro section is a nod to early 90s Clannad simply because he was showing me Clannad videos on YouTube 😆 www.subvert.fm/ikjoyce/trac...
Got up earlier today, to beat the heat. Had a 15km progression run (17km with warm up and cool down), legs were quite fatigued but managed it ok. Went straight into the sea afterwards for a cooling dip, lovely!
"Sounds like a piano, ill-prepared by John Cage falling asleep on the sofa in a chill out room, having electric dreams"

It's already 19 degrees here- I got up at 6:30 for my run thinking it would be cooler... i'm sweatier than prince Andrew's pizza.
3x 2km threshold intervals in this heat are definitely type 2 fun.
Managed the first at pace, could hardly stay inside the pace range for other two. Walked the rests.
