Thank you @foglizzomartina.bsky.social for the nomination, and thank you to everyone for your support.
This recognition reflects the creativity and hard work of our entire team, past and present, as well as the many collaborators whose contributions make our discoveries possible.
We just published a commentary on Francesca Bufalieriโs new article in a Molecular Therapy that shows the power or tweaking the UPS to modulate Hedgehog signalling in cancer. With @zeqiraj.bsky.social and Kevin Shi.

My first post on Bluesky! Very excited to share our work just published in @science.org. We find that โInterphase cell morphology defines the mode, symmetry, and outcome of mitosisโ - in angiogenesis and other tissues! www.science.org/doi/abs/10.1... www.science.org/doi/abs/10.1...
We posted a biorxiv preprint on structural bioinformatics, AlphaFold modeling & machine learning on predicting specificity of E3 ligase ring domains for different E2 enzymes. 1/4

Brilliant findings, led by Dr Simon Cobbold, Marco Jochem and Prof David Komander (pictured L-R).
The study is also a collaboration with The University of Melbourne, University of Cologne and Alfred Health.

I believe that we are about to see a major scientific conflict play out here on BlueSky, for better or for worse. I'll weigh in on this on the blog once I'm sure that I understand everyone's positions:
WEHI researchers have found glycogen can be directly regulated using ubiquitin, in landmark findings published in Nature.
The study transforms understanding into glycogen metabolism & could lead to new treatments for diseases caused by abnormal sugar storage.
