Because every time a game studio has to move resources over to making a trailer, it causes the game to lose about 4 months of actual dedicated development iteration time.
tried some marathon. managed to exfil maybe half of my baby beginner matches. kinda wish the game was all the gorgeous cutscenes and dialogue bits instead of also then being an extraction shooter. I like sending my little recon drone buddy out to explode on someone tho
also like. showing the cool colony ship in the intro and then you're just on the planet after instead... I wanted to go on the big colony ship >:(
