Kudos to the grown up on the bus who didn't respond with a pat 'because they can't walk.' when the ~3yo kid they were with asked why someone would be using a wheelchair but instead gave them examples like 'because they might get very tired' and 'because walking might hurt them a lot.'

PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) is now PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome). The name change follows a multiyear process stemming from a recognition that ovarian cysts aren't the primary aspect of the condition, which affects multiple body systems, and many patients don't have them.
