31 years ago today, the Sega Saturn made landfall in the US. To this day, it is still one of my favorite consoles.

One of my favorite parts about repairing arcade machines is being able to pull out at least a little bit of carpentry skills on it. My Daytona USA machine had a broken corner when I got it. Instead of using a bunch of Bondo, I just cut the thing and made a replacement. It turned out decent!

I know it wasn’t as groundbreaking as the original, but Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is still one of my favorite games.
The first TV I played NES on didn't even have a remote and to turn the channel I had to turn a physical dial, which only had 13 channel options.
Just remove those cabinet doors and bask in it...
